We understand that one of the biggest barriers to entering the cannabis industry is access to quality education. That’s why we’ve launched a financial aid initiative in collaboration with KVCC’s Cannabis Programs—exclusively for Kalamazoo city residents aged 21 and older.

KVCC offers three specialized, 9-week certificate courses: 

Through our partnership with Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC), you can now enroll in cannabis industry certification programs at no cost if you're a Kalamazoo city resident aged 21 or older.

  • Cannabis Cultivation

  • Retail Specialist

  • Extraction Specialist

Applicant Requirements:

  • Applicants must be aged 21+

  • Applicants must live in Kalamazoo city limits, and must be able to verify address

  • Samples verifications includes:

  • Mail addressed to applicant

  • Passport

  • Driver’s license

  • Car insurance

  • Letter or affidavit of residency if staying in a shelter or other facility

  • Commit to completing the full 9 week course.
